The days are longer, the flowers are blooming and the temps are warmer… Spring is here! Now is a perfect time to “spring clean” your Lexus (which you’ve been putting off all winter!). Here are a few items to consider:

Remove Debris: After autumn and winter, your Lexus may be hiding dead leaves, twigs, and other debris in tight spaces—like under the hood or around the trunk. Be sure to clear them out, as they can clog the air intake and negatively impact the performance of your Lexus.

Clean the Interior: Freshed up the upholstery by using a damp cloth or specialized automotive fabric cleaner. Dust off the dashboard and thoroughly vacuum the seats and floorboards to remove anything from the outside that may have collected on the inside.

Undercarriage Wash: Winter roads can leave behind salt and grime, which can lead to undercarriage rust. Visit a commercial car wash with an underbody rinse to thoroughly clean off any leftover salt.

Declutter the Trunk: Over time the trunk can accumulate unnecessary items. Clear it out to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency in your Lexus.

Exterior Detailing: Give your Lexus a full wash and wax to eliminate built-up dirt and grime. This helps protect the paint and keeps your vehicle looking sharp.

It's smart to give your Lexus a once-over at the start of each new season, not just spring. If you notice anything unusual, schedule a visit to your local Lexus repair specialist for a professional inspection.

Find a local, independent Lexus repair shop with Lexus mechanics that have dealer-level expertise at a fraction of the expense.
