Established in 1998 and locally owned, Mike Davidson, known as "The Auto Guy," started the company with himself and two mechanics. Mike has a degree in Automotive Management from the Automotive Service Association. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau. You can see Mike on the local CBS affiliate channel 11, as he has been a regular guest on the Friday morning show since 2002.
It is two o’clock in the morning and Dustin was preparing to move his family to Seattle, Washington, to attend school in hopes of becoming an I.T. Tech. He was working on his car that night and a good friend showed up in his garage with a stack of automotive books from Dustin's bookshelf. Dustin took a moment from working on the car and suddenly realized that every book placed in front of him had something to do with the technical side of auto repair. He knew immediately he needed to change his direction to the automotive field.
Since that time, Dustin has never looked back. He graduated from college with a degree in the automotive field, went to work at a shop, and excelled quickly as a diagnostician.
Dustin always wanted his son, Jacob, to be close to his grandfather so he knew he needed to return to Arkansas. Once Dustin arrived back in Arkansas, he began his search for what he knew needed to be the best shop for him to become successful as a technician. He eventually found Parkway Automotive. Dustin has the amazing skill and ability to detect failures on cars and is equally gifted in his ability to serve others and help them with life issues. He understands the most important aspect in helping others is to serve them and he does that every day as Shop Manager. He currently oversees six technicians along with eight other people who have the highest regard and respect for him as a boss, a technician, and a friend. He loves the industry and he loves people!
